Estimate how long a piece of text will take to read from its word count and reading speed.
How the calculation works
Divides the total word count by a reading speed in words per minute to get reading time in minutes, then splits any fractional minute into whole seconds. A faster reading speed shortens the estimate; a slower one, common for dense technical text, lengthens it.
Formula
Reading Time = Word Count ÷ Reading Speed (words per minute).

1,500 words at 200 wpm

3,000 words at 250 wpm
