Attendance Calculator
Work out an employee's attendance rate from days present and total working days.
How the calculation works
Divide the days an employee actually showed up by the total number of scheduled working days in the period (a month, a quarter, whatever you're measuring), then multiply by 100. The remainder is the absence rate, the two always add up to 100%.
Formula
Attendance Rate (%) = (Days Present ÷ Total Working Days) × 100.
Examples
22 days present of 24 scheduled
91.67% attendance rate (2 days absent, 8.33% absence rate)
18 days present of 20 scheduled
90.00% attendance rate (2 days absent, 10.00% absence rate)
