How the calculation works
Since a year has 12 months, converting between annual salary and monthly pay is just dividing or multiplying by 12. This also shows the weekly equivalent (annual salary ÷ 52) for reference, since monthly and weekly pay don't line up evenly, a month is roughly 4.33 weeks, not exactly 4.
Formula
Monthly Pay = Annual Salary ÷ 12. Annual Salary = Monthly Pay × 12.
