How the calculation works
Enter what you're paid and how often, and this converts it to every other common pay period: hourly, daily, weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, monthly, and annual. It first works out your annual pay from your entered amount and frequency, then divides that annual figure back down into each period, using 52 weeks per year and whatever hours or days per week you enter.
Formula
Annual Pay = Pay Amount × Periods Per Year (based on frequency). Every other period is then Annual Pay divided by that period's count per year.
